About this course...

How our training works...

Our specialist's view...

Our Child Protection training course is a key element of our safeguarding suite. This two-part course is designed to ensure all leaders, including governance, staff and volunteers in schools and academies have a clear understanding of the Child Protection remit, how this transfers into best practice to ensure legislative and duty of care requirements are fully met.

As with all elements of our safeguarding suite, the course is supported by a sound knowledge base and practice examples. Our accredited CPD solution will ensure provision is safe, secure and there is a culture of vigilance.

Effective Child Protection policy, protocols and practice are essential elements of the safeguarding remit within educational settings to drive standards forward and ensure the safety and protection of pupils and adults. In order to foster a culture of Collective Responsibility all staff and volunteers should understand the expectations governance places on their roles, have a good understanding of child protection processes and how to apply them effectively. This includes accurate identification of concerns (including CSE, FGM and radicalisation), effective responses and the multi-agency strategies to provide protection and therapeutic support.
