By completing this CPD accredited course (which examines all the key legislative requirements in detail) staff will be fully updated on the new and revised standards, reassuring governance and leadership that practice is secure.

Participants will also complete a case study to test the application of learning into practice.

  1. The Admin Dashboard – (

    Our system requires no complicated setup. From the Admin Dashboard simply copy and send an invitation email to your staff with the login details for your school or academy. Once your staff commence training, all progress, results and CPD certificates are presented in the Admin Dashboard as evidence of training.

  2. The Training Site – (

    Staff complete a course via any PC, Mac, Smartphone or Tablet. Each course is made up of an engaging multimedia presentation created using 3D animation, comprehensive course notes and a fully tracked multiple-choice assessment. On completion, staff can view and print their CPD accredited certificate.

    All courses are kept up-to-date with any changes in legislation or policy ensuring practice in your school or academy is compliant with current requirements.

What is covered in this course?

By completing this course, your staff will have a fully CPD accredited understanding of:

  1. Revisions made to the statutory guidance document 'Keeping children safe in education (KCSIE) 2018'
  2. Revisions made to the statutory guidance document 'Working together to safeguard children 2018'
  3. Further new and revised legislation and guidance (as at September 2018)
  4. Case study evaluation

Who should complete this course?

Our training is applicable to the following educational settings:

Primary Schools, Primary Academies, Secondary Schools, Secondary Academies, Private Nurseries, Maintained Nurseries, Public Schools, Free Schools, Pupil Referral Units, and SEND Schools.

To fulfil the latest HM Government statutory guidance and Ofsted Common Inspection Framework requirements, this training will support the roles listed below:

  1. All staff who have previously completed core Child Protection training- Teachers, LSAs, HLTAs, TAs, Support Staff.
  2. Named governors/ trustees for safeguarding & child protection who have previously completed core Child Protection training.
  3. Volunteers who have previously completed core Child Protection training.


Our course content is updated when changes in legislation, statutory guidance and/or inspection frameworks are issued, ensuring you fully comply with the latest requirements.
