Fully updated in line with the latest HM Government requirements in force from 31st December 2023.
As you will be aware from our e-bulletin, substantive changes have been made by HM Government to the Prevent Duty and to the statutory requirements placed on school, academy and college settings.
To meet the new requirements, we have produced two new courses which will replace the current Prevent Duty course:
- Prevent Duty for SLT/DSLs/Governors
- Prevent Duty for Staff and Volunteers
Both courses are included in your licence. Users simply pick which version to access from the menu.
What is the difference between the 2 versions?
Both versions fully update on the latest Prevent Duty 31st December 2023. The SLT/DSLs/Governor version is more detailed and focuses on how to lead on Prevent Duty. The Staff/Volunteer member version defines their specific responsibilities under the duty according to their role.
